Slang for coming out of online "lurking mode", usually motivated by an irresistible need to flame about something. For example, "I just had to delurk and add my two cents to that conversation about global warming."

While I probably won't get nearly as many comments as Nanette or other cyberceleb-like bloggers, I'm hoping that maybe I DO have some lurkers. I know I have some haters but what about people who read and perhaps even enjoy this blog and never say hello!
Leave me a comment and if you're a blogger - leave your blog address so I can start reading!
And if you want one of those nifty little buttons, you can pick one up here.

Not really delurking, but wanted to say hi anyway! And wait, I'm not the only one who has haters reading her blog? :)

Hi, you've seen me here before. But wanted to give some comment love!
Can you de-lurk without purpose? I lurk quite often..and all commission goes to Smack...who led me to Maria's blog, which led to yours...way to go smack.
I've only been lurking a short while. I pop over, when I'm bored, from Doahleigh.

Sometimes I read your blog without pants on.
