A total of 6 couples attended and surprisingly, all of the guys were willing participants. I'm sure it helped that they killed off a bottle of rum (seriously, I was kind of shocked to see the empty when I cleaned up the next morning) and drank a bunch of beer. Either way - success!
I was afraid that everyone was going to be a party pooper and it would have made me feel sorry for the lady giving the demo and I would have had to spend several hundred dollars just to make up for it.
The highlight of the evening was Jackson's enthusiasm for spa products and his eagerness to host a party! The look on Kristin's face was priceless. That's what happens when you drink and spa.
I was also surprised that everyone (guys too) were so willing to try the detoxifying face mask and lip stuff:
I just wanted to post a picture of Zach with the mask on... the first picture is of him seeing if Mark is putting the stuff on...
I'm happy that this party is over and done with although I proved to be a sucker yet again. When it came down to ordering, I had listed 3 items separately. I avoided any of the "packages" because I really don't use any of the crap. My skin care routine is pretty simple. But then the spa lady managed to talk me into getting a package of skincare products because I got a hostess discount of 33%! Stupid bargains... they get me everytime. I ended up spending $55 more than what I originally intended to. D'oh!
As for the rest of my weekend... I fell asleep during the Rilo Kiley show at Ramshead because I'm an old fart that can't handle her drink and then I scrapbooked 1 page of my wedding scrapbook on Sunday. I'm not a scrapbooker but I have a ton of stuff from the wedding that I figured I should glue to pages in an album. Simple enough, right? Holy crap... I left the scrapbooking store feeling like a complete and utter failure.
How was everyone else's weekend?

it's not funny to feel like a failure at the scrapbooking store, but holy hell did i just laugh at that.... it's coming my way!
i missed rilo kiley when she was here... sad. i love jenny lewis.
i did however see REM and they rocked. as usual.
How does one fall asleep at a concert??? I can never find a seat at Rams Head so I don't know how you did it! :)
I'm going to see The Legwarmers on Sat w/ work folks...wish me luck :)
At least Zach redeemed himself by coming to watch the fights with me on Saturday afternoon.
Picture with a mud mask on + watching fights = zero sum game
The spa party sounds like a lot of fun! And um, yeah, I know nothing about scrapbooking!
