Boring Saturday

Its Saturday. Whoo.

First I want to say a big congrats to Zach and Ronny! Zach popped the question last night and like a dork, I got really choked up when Ronny called to tell me. I could tell she had been crying and it was just so sweet plus I think I was crying over some TV commercial because I've gotten really soft lately...

Aaaanywho - So now they're getting married and of course, The Mr. offered to shoot their "engagement pictures". The difference being is that we like to make Zach as uncomfortable as possible so this should be fun. Zach isn't really a picture guy.

Zach was one of the groomsmen in our wedding and he claims that he was the one that introduced me and The Mr. Soo... we're really stoked and I can't wait to talk shop with them because dammit, this shit isn't out of my system. I thought I'd hate weddings after my own but I don't. I still love them! But not enough to ever plan another one. Unless I'm planning our vow renewal in Las Vegas (I'm not kidding, Mr!).

I don't even know what to say about Zach. I heart him! He's one of my favorite people and I'm so happy he found someone and yadda yadda yadda. Okay, that pains me to write because I'm not sentimental.

The whole lead up to the proposal was hilarious because Zach was trying to be super covert and he wanted me to find out Ronny's ring size. So, a few months ago - I made Ronny put on my engagement ring. She was SO uncomfortable but it confirmed that we were the same size. On Halloween, Zach had gotten the ring but was paranoid that it wouldn't fit so he asked me to double check with Ronny. I wasn't sure how to do this without being obvious so I went all out. I screamed the Jesus would like to propose to the beautiful Ms. Ronny and I forced my ring on her. Did she suspect something? Yes.

Zach and me on Halloween right before I popped the question to Ronny.

Here's Ronny, very sick but very happy, with her new ring. Aww!

As you can see, she's much thinner than I am (she's thinner than most! Damn her and her good genes) so Zach was second guessing that she and I were the same ring size. Turd! I have freakishly thin fingers. My mom likes to point that out a lot. She said I have "old man hands".

Well, I feel like there is so much to do today and I hate those kinds of days. Today we're hitting up Target (those stupid shoes have been calling my name!), Best Buy (for MORE camera accessories... oy) and then I have to buy food, clean out my closet, clean the house blah blah blah. I just want to sleep!
