Most Awesome Movie EVER

So last night, being the oh so cool person that I am, I watched The Pirate Movie.

The Pirate Movie is an uber cheesy musical from 1982 that is supposed to be a parody of The Pirates of Penzance. I had never heard of this movie before until WeddingBee posted a small clip of the musical number "Happy Ending" and it was awesome. I had to watch it. I finally did. I can officially say I've seen everything. Okay, that's an exaggeration especially if you've read my 101 in 1001 list.

I tried to find a NON-youtube clip of the song (because youtube is a banned site at work) but unfortunately cannot. So, if you must see it... go to YouTube.com and search for "The Pirate Movie - Happy Ending" and you should be able to find it. I only wished that I would have seen this BEFORE my own wedding. The Mr and I could have totally coordinated a dance.

Not much else going on. I've been super stressed at work (a mix with stress, anger, frustration...) and have been working extra hard so I haven't been very social. I'm thankful that the weekend is here so that I can pass out and catch up on some much needed zzz's.

This weekend also happens to be a birthday weekend for 5 people that I know! So happy birthday Carrie, Zach, Mark, Jamie and Traci!

What are your plans for the weekend?

Yay!!! I freakin' LOVE The Pirate Movie!! I personally like Pumpin' & Blowin' (that's a song from the movie for you dirty birds who might think otherwise) It's such a cheesy movie with so many gay undertones that it's AMAZING my parents didn't know I was gay when I was a kid saying stuff like: "Avon calling" or "And i'm Annette Funicello" The signs were all there, but they chose to ignore them :-)

Happy Birthday Everyone!!
It's a pleasure to share my birthday weekend with so many wonderful peeps...and Zach too :-)
