Actually - if you talk to me at all, then you'll never forget because I'll never let you!
So check them out.
Kitchen floors before:

The Mr. was tearing out the floor in this pic.

We had to move the fridge and oven out. What a pain.
Mid-way:

The linoleum is all gone!

The cement board. We had to put these together like a puzzle. Oh and mortar them to the f'n floor. Talk about WORK! This took many many hours and left us very very sore.

We had to mortar the seams. Ugh.

The dogs didn't know what to do.

The first tile!

Such progress...

Me grouting the tile. This was actually the least painful part of the job. It went by so quickly although I did jack up my hands for awhile.
Kitchen Floors after:

Completely grouted floor! According to my mom, linoleum floors are nicer than tiled floors because they keep your feet warmer. I laughed until I realized she was right about the warmth. Holy hell tiles are cold.
We still have the following left to do in the kitchen:
- Attach the new electrical outlet covers (we bought chrome ones to match the sink)
- Raise the dishwasher so there isn't such a large gap from the countertop
- Add crown molding to the cabinets
- Add the toekick to the base of the cabinets.
Here's a quick story about the toe kick. The Mr. broke the original toe kick thinking we'd just buy a new one (I thought the same thing too). When we bought the new sink cabinet, we didn't buy a toe kick because we didn't need it yet. The night we're ready to buy it? THEY DISCONTINUED THE CABINETS! They are no longer available at Home Depot therefore we cannot get the toekick. Talk about bad timing. We bought some regular wood trim and are staining it to match the cabinets.
This weekend we're laying down hardwood floors! What's everyone else up to?
