A Funny Conversation with my Mom

::ring::ring::

Me: Hi Mom.
Mom: Hiiiieee! I haven't heard from you all week.
Me: I know. I'm sorry - I've just been busy.
Mom: I know. I know.
Me: So what's new?
Mom: We went to Philadelphia to a museum!
Me: Which museum?
Mom: I don't know. But it was the one with... how do you say...? Um... gold! Egypt!
Me: The King Tut exhibit?
Mom: That's the one! The dead little boy.
Me: (laughing) that's nice. How was it?
Mom: It wasn't there!
Me: What do you mean?
Mom: You dad and I walked all over the museum to see it and it wasn't there. Your dad asked the man and he said they couldn't fly the stuff from Egypt.
Me: Well that sucks. So there wasn't anything really to look at?
Mom: No. It was soooooooo boring.
Me: I'm surprised you guys went up to Philly.
Mom: Ugh. We drove around and around and around. We finally found a place to park and it was $10. Cash!
Me: That's not that bad.
Mom: I had heard there was gambling there so we drove around and around to find it.
Me: I'm glad that no matter where you go, you manage to find the nearest slot machine.
Mom: (laughing)
Me: Did you find it?
Mom: Yes. And it was nasty.

That's all I have. Apparently King Tut is known as the "dead little boy" to my mom and she always manages to find a place to play slots.

Tonight! Bjork! With Jamie! I'm so excited, especially at The Cure incident. Although... I think Theresa may have gotten me sick! I was up half the night last night coughing. Ugh.

See you soon, Bjork!
