The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly

My weekend in review:

The Good

- Ate delicious mexican food at our fave mexican restaurant Friday night
- Got to hang with some folks we haven't seen in awhile Friday night
- Watched A Mighty Heart (seriously, watch it)
- Our carpet installation went well! They were on time and did a fab job. They even noticed that our original carpet pad was nicer than the one we purchased so we kept our old pad and got to return the new one for a refund. Sa-weet!
- Ate delicious indian food with Ian and Katie. I think this place (The Ambassador) may be my favorite indian restaurant to date.
- Got some blog love from McCashew! Thanks! I love that people outside of my social network at home read my blog. I don't think that I'm that entertaining but its awesome to know that people might actually enjoy my writing. :)
- We love our camera

The Bad

- Had to finish up 2 projects (and I'm still not happy with them so I've got more tweaking to do tonight)
- Spent most of Saturday cleaning the house (although this could be good because our house is clean... it still sucks to clean and its why we're hiring CAG's housecleaner!)
- The display on my phone is broken. Ack! Its completely white so I can't see who's calling, read text messages or anything. My "new every 2" is good starting Nov 11th. Can I hold out that long?

The Ugly
- My mom called me the other day and had a near breakdown over the health of my father

How was everyone else's weekend?

Found your blog sometime last week and have been loving it. Can't wait to keep reading.

Especially loved the carpeting story---our guy was called Stan the Carpet Man, and boy was it a relief when he showed up and was not a total creep! (Plus, having new carpet is a bonus as well.)

Cleaning is a pain, but it does feel good when it's all done. :) I think we're going to hire a housekeeper, too.

Ok...favorite mexican doesn't help me...where did you go? I always like to try new places :)

You're hiring a housekeeper?!?! Actually I know several people that have someone come in once or twice a month to do a good cleaning, but what is your Mom going to look for when she visits? :)

I had a housekeeper when I lived in Spain and she was awesome! It was so nice to not have to worry about cleaning on my time off from work.

Which Mexican restaurant did you guys eat at?
