Things That Currently Annoy Me
- People who get uppity about shopping at Wal-Mart. Look, I get it. They're "bad" people in that they don't give their workers health-care and they manipulate the government to get tax breaks, blah blah blah. But you know what? If I don't shop there, its not going to stop bring this conglomerate down. I don't shop there often, as it generally is a cesspool of GB's finest but they're the only store that carry a specific dog treat that my dogs enjoy. I refuse to pay a bajillion dollars on gourmet treats (most of which my dogs don't even enjoy) nor do I want to pollute their systems with well-known treats like "Pupperoni" or "Snausages" (have you even read the ingredients label?!). Stop judging me and save your comments. I.don't.care.
- People who scoff at the fact that we hired a dog-walker. Look - we love our dogs and there are days when we're away from home for a long period of time. Its cruel to leave them locked up in the kitchen.
- People who leave their cigarette butts all over the sidewalks on our street. Seriously - do you think they're magically disappearing? Its gross. Pick it up and put it in the trash. Sheesh.
- Work-place politics that force what was supposed to be a small fun birthday lunch gathering into a big, not fun lunch gathering where I'm stuck footing the majority of the bill.
- Cheap people. I know that not everybody has a lot of money to spend but when you're squabbling over $2-3, you're cheap. Actually - I think you're cheap if you have issues over $10. Its just money. Its not going to do anything for you when you're dead so you might as well enjoy it now.
- Glittery, animated graphics on MySpace. I loathe seeing these in people's comments. Really? How old are we? They are an eye-sore and they're annoying. I'm not a MySpace junkie but I was on there the other day (to check out some recent wedding pics of people I know) and was assaulted with a ton of glittery graphics stating, "I Love You!" to the new bride from her groom. If you're sending each other these graphics via MySpace, perhaps you weren't mature enough to get married. I'm just saying.

I'll try to get better about my aversion to Wal-Mart...I don't mean to be uppity, but that place is so disorganized and dirty...ok...I'll stop :)
I'll tell you what annoys me...people that weasle their way in front of you at a concert then hold a camera in front of you the whole time...THAT ANNOYS ME!! :)
Seriously people who don't pick up after their pets annoy me...eww!!!!
If you start looking at the dirty side of corporations- then we would just have to shop at Mom and Pop shops. Ever read about what Disney did in Florida to the environment- my wife says she will never go to Disney. I don't go to Walmart because the workers seem to be retarded, the stores tend to be gross and dirty, and yes the GB people are scary.
I get very annoyed by people that try and take credit for things and make everything about them. Oh, and how much money and attention Britney Spears gets.
I'm not a fan of Wal-Mart, but not because it's a big corporate monster. I just prefer Target. :)
And cigarette butts were EVERYWHERE in Italy, especially in Rome, as so much of the population smokes. It was grossing me out!
I agree with so many of your points... sorry for the birthday thing, I was pissed you footed so much of the bill. I am taking you to that little place on lakeside on Friday.
As for things that annoy me... there are so many. My personal beef is probably dumb people. I know that is harsh, but seriously, could they have a sign or something. An indication that I am going to be pissed after I chat with you. Also, if you could stop breeding, that would be great.
You know what annoys me? People who make lists of what annoys them and then asks others what annoys them!! hahahahaha! Just kidding!
I'm not a big Wal-Mart fan either, but like you, they're the only ones who carry a certain product that I use.
Ignorance annoys the bejesus out of me! People who wear blinders and can't see to the left or right of issues and think that what THEY believe is right and that's that!
Also, all those people who think that children shouldn't read Harry Potter or any of the Disney books because they contain witchcraft, sorcery and such. Come on! Give it a rest. What are they supposed to read?
