First of all, I'd like to wish a big happy birthday to Ryan! LYLAS, buddy!
Second - I loathe this flooring guy and will never recommend his services. Even worse? The Mr. sucks at negotiating. Ugh! Clarence called The Mr. to square away the payment (notice that Clarence no longer calls me because I YELL at him). Anywho - the Mr. hung up the phone and started writing a check. The original quoted balance that we owed was $750. Now, keep in mind that Clarence cancelled TWICE on us during the work week (causing us to waste days off) and was LATE on Saturday (causing me to waste most of my Saturday). How much would you argue should be knocked off the price?
THE MR. WROTE A CHECK FOR $650! $100 off?! That's it? That's insulting and we're spending MORE in supplies to fix their mess. Time = Money. They wasted lots of our time. Argh - I'm STILL mad.
So - tonight is the Urban Chic Grand Opening party in Baltimore. I'm a big supporter of this store because my friend owns it and my better friend is the buyer. But its also the source of my spending way too much on clothes.
Courtney e-mailed me about the Grand Opening party and said we had to "dress to impress". The Mr. groaned about this but I think the free food and booze cheered him up. Court then sent a text last week to let me know that there will be a red carpet AND there will be "papparazzi" there to snap photos. Its my dream come true!
I'll post pics tomorrow. Oh and I also want to say a big congrats to Katie and Ian who just got engaged!

OMG!!! You're gonna work the red carpet tonight!??!! I'm so jealous! :)
Have a great time, it sounds like it'll be a blast!! (Tell Coutney I said Hey!!)
It's too late to worry about what could have been. I agree that they made you waste 2 vacation days and the cost of your time and materials is much more than $100, but it's too late to worry about it.
CONGRATS Katie & Ian!!!!!
(I don't think I met you, but you must be good people)
