Empty Threats

I wish I had some fun news to report but unfortunately FW was all talk! I wore my Tims for nothing. Booo! hiss!

Although - I started to feel a little bad for his getting picked on and essentially shut out of our presentation so I threw him a bone. See - after every group went through their demo for the class, the professor asked everyone the SAME questions.

1. What did you spend the most time on?
2. If you could enhance your library management system, what would you do?

We were the THIRD group to present so at this point, we've had 45 minutes to think these questions through. I double checked our CIVIL e-mail exchange regarding who was going to present and demo what portions of the code and confirmed he didn't sign up for any of it. Still - I didn't want him to feel left out. I told him that he should answer the questions from the prof so that he'd be contributing to the presentation. He agreed.

The first group presented and answered. And then the second group presented and answered. For the second question, the second group's answer was:
Uuhh... we'd add DVDs and CDs...

What? How is that enhancing your system, dumbass? Anyways - he had 45 minutes to think this through! When the question was asked (he didn't even have to answer the first question!), he said, "Um... what the other group said about adding DVDs." Yarg! I gave you a chance and that's what you do with it? You could have redeemed yourself, man!

Ugh.

Thank god this class is over (well... I do have a final).

FW seemed a bit dejected in class as though he knew we all were going to give him a failing grade but now I don't feel so bad after I gave him a chance to redeem himself. I do have to say that PR was a wee bit immature about the situation. At one point she got up to use the restroom and loudly declared, "I'm going to go to the bathroom. If I don't come back, you know what happened to me!" and cackled. I get that his wife didn't show, but act like a grownup please.

I've completely written these two off forever! I will not get suckered into teaming up with them ever again. Oy.
