Genius Marketers

The marketing group from Nintendo is genius.

They release only X amount of Wiis at a time so that demand stays high and they sell out quickly.

They also do this with games. Guitar Hero 3? Yeah - the fact that I couldn't just walk into a store and pick it up made me want it THAT much more. And I played it for like a month. It cramps my hands! I'll pick it back up this winter.

But now? I.MUST.OWN.THE.WII.FIT. If I walk into a store now, I can purchase every Wii Fit accessory known to man (a sweatband, really?) but the actual game? Not so much.

I got a sneak peak at the awesomeness at Theresa's house on Saturday. I can pretend ski! I can pretend tight rope walk! I can run in place! Who wouldn't want this game?

It's at the top of my Christmas list.

I'm sure I should spend more time worrying about my job though. Layoffs, much? Oy!

What's at the top of YOUR Christmas (or Hannakah!) wishlist?

I did the same thing..searched and searched for a Wii and then just HAD to have Wii fit. The Wii fit was easier to get my hands on - I just started calling game shops in the area until I found one!

It is worth it too! So much fun to use!

I think I now want a WiiFit too! My mom just got one, and it's tripping me out. She never let me have video games as a kid, and it was the first thing she bought when I moved out! WTF!

please don't hate me, we have two, one that's ours and one we're giving as a gift. We've gotten them both unexpectedly. We asked at the store and they just had it. That plus, we got the wii as a wedding gift. But, it's really fun!

I don't even know what my wishlist is this year. I guess I'm getting boring, and I was spoiled this year with wedding gifts. I could always use some new cute clothes. A Wii Fit would be awesome!!!!

The Mr. has a lot of pressure riding on him this Xmas ;) Wii Fit sounds awesome. Working out in the comfort of my own home - it can't get any better than that.

I was totally going to invite you to my Wii Fit party, but I figured you wouldn't be able to come since you live in B-more. :( I hope you get one soon!
