Dexter
This show is brilliant. CBS has recently picked it up to air on Sunday nights and while they seriously edit the crap out of it, its still brilliant.
It makes me wonder how we ever got by before discovering how magnificent this show really is.
One of my all-time favorite shows was Six Feet Under.
So - I get super excited when the actors from this show move on to other shows... therefore I like to follow: Peter Krause, Jeremy Sisto, Lauren Ambrose, and now Michael C. Hall (Dexter).
I'm happy that Peter has Dirty Sexy Money (a GREAT show).
I'm happy that Jeremy Sisto is now on Law & Order.
I am THRILLED that Michael C. Hall has Dexter (have I mentioned that this is my new favorite show?).
Where the hell is Lauren Ambrose?

I love "Dexter"! I agree with you -- it's a brilliant show!
I'm one of the millions of suckers that pays $162/month for cable/DSL -- but with show like Dexter, the Tudors and a few others -- it's worth it.
I also loved "Six Feet Under". I have no idea what happened to Lauren Ambrose -- you could check IMDB.com.

and i don't know about lauren ambrose, but rachel griffiths (brenda) is on brothers and sisters. and also, peter was in a mini series called "the lost room". it is seriously AMAZING and you need to see it. last time i was at blockbuster it was still on the new releases wall.
I think Lauren Ambrose has a sitcom coming out on Fox soon, but don't quote me on that.
I've never seen it, but I'm curious - is Dexter a rip-off of American Psycho?
Actually - Dexter isn't like American Psycho. I mean - it is in the sense that he's leading a "normal" life but has that secret serial killer in him but he's not killing hookers and his buddies. He's killing criminals.
ANd now that I'm typing it out, it doesn't sound that interesting. It is, I swear!
hmmm... I don't know. I feel like I'd just keep judging it based on American psycho, cause i loved the movie and the book.
maybe i'll check it out.

omg, i love dexter!! i was watching it when i was in odenton ... when i had showtime, but i moved before the second season ended so i missed SO much and i'm so pissed! ugh. now that i have a better job, tho, that pays more, i may get showtime added onto my package so i can catch up on these shows with on demand.

also, as a follow up, nanners was correct ... lauren ambrose has a new show coming out soon called "the return of jezebel james" and she teams up with one of my favorites! parker posey!! ooh, i'm thrilled for this series premier.
